Frequently Asked Questions

How many weddings have you photographed?

I have shot over 100 weddings.

Do you offer full-day or half-day coverage?

Both - have a look at my pricing page here.

What is it like to work with you?

Most clients say I am friendly and easy to work with.

I am a pretty easy-going person with a cheerful outlook on life.

How does booking work?

Please scheduling a meeting with me. Once you decide to book, I will give you a contract to sign. I ask for a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. The remainder is due two weeks prior to your wedding.

How can we get ready for our engagement session?

Confirm the date, time and location with me two weeks ahead of time.

Please also choose outfits that are colour coordinated. Couples typically dress as if they were going on a date.

How many photographs can we expect from our wedding day?

Wedding clients can typically expect to receive about 500 images. Images are delivered on a USB flash drive.

Will our photos be edited?

I edit each photo lightly before delivery.   I aim for a more classy style that is inspired by the film days. This way your photos will stand the test of time.

Do you offer wedding albums and prints?

Yes! Please check out the price list.

Do you offer boudoir shoots as a surprise wedding gift?

Yes, please contact me to inquire about my boudoir packages.

What do you need from us before the wedding day?

Please send me a detailed schedule that features the main events and locations for the day a week before the wedding.

Do you accept shot lists?

No, I do not, and for good reason. Shotlists are excellent for things like films or commercials, but during live events magical things can often happen that are unplanned. We risk not capturing those special moments if we are preoccupied with a list. That being said, I do ask that couples organize the family photos part of the day ahead of time. Having a list of who needs to be in each shot really helps things go smoothly. I also ask that one family member be the lead on organizing the family photos time. These are typically done at one location at the ceremony location. On the day, that person will call out names and ask people to come pose for their group shot.

What is the turnaround time for our wedding photos?

It depends on the time of year, but typically a couple of months.

Do you work with videographers?

Yes, I do. Actually, I am married to a filmmaker. :)
